Taxes and import fees
Orders are shipped from the United Kingdom.
For international deliveries, VAT, customs duties and/or customs clearance fees may be charged when the parcel arrives in the destination country.
These charges are not included in the product price or shipping costs and are payable by the recipient.

Frequently asked questions
How much does shipping cost?
- Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your destination and the number of planners ordered.
- All international orders are sent using a tracked delivery service, so you can follow your parcel throughout its journey.
- As orders are shipped from the UK, ordering more than one planner can significantly reduce the shipping cost per planner.
- Shipping is currently available to the UK, France and Guadeloupe.
- If your country isn’t currently available, please contact me and I’ll be happy to check whether shipping can be added to your destination.
Will I have to pay taxes and import fees?
Orders delivered outside the UK may be subject to taxes and import fees charged by the destination country. These charges are not included at checkout and are payable by the recipient.
For mainland France:
- French import VAT (normally 20%) is payable on imported goods.
- A €3 flat customs duty per category of goods also applies to qualifying low-value consignments of €150 or less.
- The carrier may additionally charge a customs clearance/handling fee.
Ordering several planners together can help spread some of the fixed costs across the order, although VAT itself remains proportional to the taxable amount.
The final amount is determined by French customs and/or the carrier when the parcel enters France.
When will I get my order?
All international orders are sent using a tracked delivery service, and you’ll receive your tracking information once your order has been dispatched.
Delivery times vary by destination:
- For mainland France, delivery is typically estimated at 3–5 working days after dispatch.
- Other international deliveries may take longer, particularly if the parcel is held for customs clearance.
How can I reduce customs clearance fees in France?
If you receive a payment notification from La Poste, paying the requested taxes and duties online before delivery is generally less expensive than paying them to the postal worker or at a post office, as La Poste’s handling fee can be lower for online payment.
